The 2017 Bolantine Bop recently took place in East London, with all profits going to The Marc Bolan London Music Project.
It was a fun packed evening celebrating Marc's music and was attended by some of Marc's family, friends and fans from across the country.
Special thanks go out to Paul Roberts for commissioning the fabulous "Futuristic Dragon" plaque and donating it to the cause for auction. It raised an amazing £505.00! Thanks so much to Ken Swain for his overwhelming generosity in bidding so high! Also huge thanks to Simon and the Tottenham Hardcore Boys for their wonderful donation of £560.00 and to Rob Davies for his £200.00 cheque.
Thanks also to Gordon Abbot for his DJ-ing, Paul Whitton for his lovely acoustic set, Paul Evans for his amusing presentation of his poem and to Super Fearless and The Cosmic Choir for their awesome set, which featured a special appearance from Steve Jameson singing 'Summertime Blues'.
Also a big thanks to those who have so far donated instruments for the music therapy room at Noah's Ark. Anthony Hayman from Noah's Ark was presented with the instruments on the night and is reported to have particularly enjoyed the evening.
Here are some pictures from the night. See you all next time.
